It is started as a joke, or rather, as a dinner with friends after a day of fishing, this festival has grown exponentially over the years till to become even national and international. The menu of the festival is characterized by typical sea food dishes such as, precisely, spaghetti and sea faring mussels, all rigorously seasoned with a delicious white sauce ready to be tasted with the classic "scarpetta" (mop up one's plate with bread) of bread. The whole event is marked by respect and protection of the environment because, as is already the case for some years, all the dishes and flatware used are biodegradable. The Municipality of Pedaso and the Pro Loco has long engaged in projects that partake in the good habit of recycling and the use of materials with a very low impact on the environment. This attention to the environment has led the hamlet of the Marche to get, for the second consecutive year, the recognition of the "Blue Flag". What better guarantee, therefore, for the quality of mussels that can be savoured in complete safety for the health. |
