Castrum Sarnani stems from the desire to bring back the ancient burg of Sarnano to its original charm through culture, tastes and emotions that characterized the Middle Ages.

The squares and streets come to life through dance shows and fire eaters, ancient fencing fighting, animation with stilts and juggling. Even today, the highest part of the country preserves the story of a fascinating Middle Ages and the proposed route, from the loggia of Via Roma to the majestic Palace of the People and return, offers the chance to relive closely the charm of that era.
The tasting of typical Medieval dishes prepared from medieval inns and taverns that serve the guest according to the customs of those centuries, making the atmosphere even more magical and enchanting.
"Castrum Sarnani - The Middle Ages... that returns" stems from the "Palio del Serafino", one of the oldest historical re-enactments of the Marche represented for the first time in 1965 on the occasion of the 7th centenary of the recognition of the Common of Sarnano dated 1265.
