"Rite of Vernaccia" fonte ilovemarche.it

It takes place the second week of August. This year is the 56th edition of the festival dedicated to the first DOCG of the Marche, organized by the local Pro-loco in the town square. An evening meal in the square, live music and the chance to taste the Vernaccia of Serrapetrona DOCG and the Serrapetrona DOC, excellent products of the territory. Since 2014, the Festival of Vernaccia boasts the quality mark "Moments of taste", granted by the Province of Macerata, to develop all the most traditional and significant events that have a strong connection with the culture of the place and the production of high-quality wine and food.
